Rafting Bali — White Water Adventures on the Ayung River

We arrived at 8:45 AM as instructed to complete paperwork and store our belongings. Although advertised as a private tour, we were required to wait for additional participants, which was not clearly explained on Tripadvisor. We waited until around 9:40 AM before finally heading down to the rafting area. The rafting itself was the highlight and very enjoyable. However, the mid-way stop felt unnecessary, especially with people smoking and overpriced food and drinks. After finishing, we also had to wait about 20 minutes for transportation back, unlike other companies that were ready immediately. Overall, 3 stars. The tour guide was great. High energy and lots of personality.

Na rafting in Nepal vond ik de Ayung River echt uniek. De verborgen watervallen waar je onderdoor peddelt en de rustige stukken tussen de golven waren top. Onze gids Wayan was geweldig en vertelde over de planten. Het enige minpuntje was dat het op sommige momenten best druk was op de rivier, wat de flow een beetje verstoorde. Maar de uitrusting was goed en het was een superleuke, avontuurlijke ochtend!

Après d'autres raftings, celui-ci m'a bluffé par ses cascades cachées et ses rapides excitants. Le guide Wayan était top, très drôle et connaissait bien la faune et la flore. Le matériel était propre et en bon état. Un peu cher, mais l'expérience en vaut la peine. 4/5.

Honestly, the 10-12km paddle flew by! Our guide Ari kept it fun and safe, pointing out cool rock carvings and letting us swim at a waterfall. The buffet lunch with the rice field view was such a nice way to end it. Gear was good, transport smooth. Zero complaints, 100% worth it.

Waktu berhenti di air terjun tersembunyi pas rafting, seru banget! Guide Gede asik banget ceritain soal ukiran batu di tebing. Makan siang buffet dengan pemandangan sawah bikin rileks setelah adventure. Worth every penny!

Booked the rafting & ATV combo for the thrill. Surya was a fantastic guide! Rafting the Ayung River was epic, and riding the ATV through the Gorilla Cave was unreal. Buffet lunch with the rice terrace view was perfect. Gear was good, felt safe. Totally worth it for the price!
